I have been involved in Marketing for 16 years. I started out marketing health clubs, which before Social Media, was all about getting people to talk about the club. I very quickly realised that marketing back then was about people recognising your brand and associating it with trust, trust that can only come from friends giving you their approval and passing it on. Referrals was the number one way of marketing, and still is... Social Media has taken my early thoughts on marketing and made it possible on an enormous scale, which is really exciting. So now I am taking my 16 years of marketing experience and putting it to good use. I have a great family, who are really supportive of everything I do. My teenagers first got me looking at Social Media, and it is very clear that if most people in our generation are using it, everybody in theirs is. In my spare time I am a Parish Councillor, which is great fun (sometimes...). I also absolutely love Formula 1 and for my sins I am a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan.
